Terms of Service

RatioAI provides a set of PDF and document tools. Most tools run entirely in your web browser; some optional features run on our servers when you explicitly choose them. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Browser tools are available without an account. Your workspace and file history are stored on the device and browser you use. You are responsible for securing your device and keeping backups of important files. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Optional backend features require separate authorization and are unavailable in the guest workspace.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you do not have the right to process.
• Upload or process malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ data or to our systems.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service in ways that harm it or other users.
• Resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted (for example, through our documented API under its terms).

You retain all rights to the files and content you process. For browser-based tools, your files never leave your device, so we have no access to them. For optional Server Mode operations, you grant us a limited right to process your file solely to perform the operation you requested; we delete it shortly afterward. You are solely responsible for the content you process.

The free tier is available at no cost and has no daily limits on browser-based tools. Paid plans, when offered, are billed as described at checkout. Prices and plan features may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes. Where required by law, you may be entitled to a refund — contact us and we'll work with you in good faith.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by RatioAI and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to the Service beyond the right to use it as intended.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results from any tool will meet your requirements. Always keep your own backups of important files.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RatioAI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and clear your local workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
